“Was under the impression (for ~6 months) that my rent was $750+$25 pet fee, totaling $775. This is what I paid each month from Feb-Aug. In August I was informed by the office manager that my rent was actually $775+$25 per fee, totaling $800. And informed me I was accumulating a tab due to paying $25 less each month (again, for 6 months, without any correction from office management). The lease was misworded, essentially. So my rent “went up”, and I had to back pay my “debt”. While unemployed in a pandemic. Half of the outlets don’t work, some light switches don’t have covers, the towel racks and toilet paper holders aren’t securely attached and regularly come off the wall. Roaches. Just… Roaches. The walls are so thin that I’ve heard every conversation my neighbors have had in 12 months. The dumpsters are regularly overflowing with trash on the sidewalks. I could go on but I have to literally go meet the moving truck right now. Don’t live here. (However, much respect to the seemingly-only maintenance man on the property. He works extremely hard and was always very helpful with issues).”
