Very easy to communicate with. And they genuinely care about how you are and are extremely supportive of your dreams. Also the house is beautiful."
"Mark is a rare find when it comes to landlords. He started managing properties as a way to make sure his own kids have decent housing while attending UK. This means that property management isn't his main job and that he's not in it to get rich. I couldn't have asked for a better landlord in terms of understanding and willingness to work with people. There admittedly is the downside that he's not doing this full time and therefore maintenance requests are a bit slow, but he also doesn't cheap out on solutions. When our oven broke, he replaced it with a way nicer model than before and didn't even ask if it was our fault or take any of the deposit."
"So, Merrick Place Apartments have beautiful grounds, but they’re old and maintenance is relatively unresponsive. Various things were never fixed when we noted them at lease signing. Other issues that have come up have been ignored."
"Ashland Terrace has been pretty quick to deal with any problems with the house. I have always been on time with rent, so they have not really given me any trouble. They did say that washer and drier repair wasn't covered in the lease, but at the time we didn't have a copy of the lease to debate it with them. Other than that it has been smooth sailing, at least as far as landlords go."
"A chill dude who takes care of anything you ask for within reason. The house is pretty nice for the price."
"Lynne is a sweet lady and pretty respectful. Our mailbox was broken the entire year we lived there after multiple attempts to get it fixed. It became easier to ask the mail person for our mail directly than trying any longer to get it fixed. Our washer broke and was fixed within a week, but we were not informed when someone came in to fix it and were not informed when it was fixed. She allowed late payments during the pandemic but not rent discounts (to be expected from off-campus housing). I would recommend renting from her."
