The Lexington Tenant Review 
Kinston Property Management is without a doubt the worst property management company in Lexington! NEVER LEASE A PROPERTY FROM THEM!!!! The house we moved into was filthy the day we moved in. My spouse took pictures of the bottom of her feet after walking in the house and they were black from dirt. There was also items left from the previous tenant (or so we thought) and I asked the agent who showed us the property if we could keep the items and her response was yes or they would have someone come by to pick up everything. We didnt find out until after signing the lease and moving into the home that the items left were the owners of the home (they were traveling abroad for 1 year) so we were basically paying for storage for the owner!!!. Had we been informed of this ahead of time we would have never leased the house. We moved out end of June after buying a home (lease expired on 7/31/2023) and we literally spent the entire month of July cleaning the home to make sure we left it in better condition than when we moved in. On August 1st they tried to draft my account for another month of rent (even though lease was expired) and I had to have my bank put a stop payment on the withdraw. They are now trying to keep over $2000 of my deposit with BOGUS FEES even after leaving the home 10x better shape (WITH PICTURES TO PROVE IT) then when we moved in!!!! NEVER LEASE FROM KINGSTON!!!!!!!!

Honestly this has to be the property manager themself leaving this review. Their maintenance is awful. But they expanded from Louisville into Lex and when they took over the apartments I was in, they closed down our laundry room “for repairs” and used it as a storage room the last 8 months I was there… And the last time I even bothered with maintenance was an emergency where the dishwasher I never so much as used as a drying rack started flooding in middle of the night… Guy shows up and says “Well.. you’ve got enough towels looks like, I’ll get someone here in the morning because I’m tired.” and left.
